This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to perform standard radiographic procedures. Emphasis is placed on a limited scope of practice for radiography procedures of the chest, abdomen, lower extremities from toes through distal femur, and upper extremities from finger through humerus. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate competence in areas of general positioning, patient safety, radiation protection, image quality, and procedure adaptation based on patient assessment.
