The Network Security Certificate provides a foundation in networking technologies and securing networks. Students will learn: Intermediate fundamentals associated with networking and information security. Upon completion graduates will be able to assist in the design, implementation, and administration of computer networks as well as securing networks.
This certificate includes preparation for the following industry certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CCNA Security, and Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA).

Developmental Course Requirements
Developmental coursework (both prerequisite and corequisite) will be required of students whose placement test measures indicate a need for greater proficiency in the areas of English and/or mathematics.
